All Guardian Corps members selected into SCAR are immediately shipped out of their units, and are put into What SCAR calls the 'MIA Unit', or officially known as Stage-Zero. The Units selected are taken to a remote facility, but are briefed as if they were being put on a mission. The units are fully equipped and dropped off twenty miles outside of the 'Target Zone', a remote facility ran by extremists. The Units are told to reach the Facility in Six Hours in full gear.

When they arrive, they are told to breach and clear of all hostiles. However, this is all actually a test. All recruits who make it to the facility arrive, but immediately are subdued by an expecting Group of SCAR. All those who can't make it in time are immediately removed from the selection process, however, this rarely ever happens due to the extreme physical fitness of the Guardian Corps Members.

This Remote Facility is actually SCAR Headquarters, dubbed Fort Lakura. The recruits are sedated and taken to the Facility's Bunker to begin Phase One of SCAR Processing. They are stripped of everything, and are left tied to a chair. These recruits are then tortured and interrogated for seven Days. If they, in that time frame, do not reveal any information of who they are, what they are, what they were trying to do, etc, they pass phase one of Recruitment Selection.

At the end of the week, Phase Two begins as each member is locked in a cell in individual corners of the facility, away from everyone else. During this time, all recruits are expected to escape within 48 hours with items they can find in their cells and the items brought to them, such as the trays of small portioned meals that provide just enough to survive for the next two days.

Within 48 Hours, it is expect at least one member to escape and to attempt to recover his/her squad. They are to negate the compound under heavy watch. They are given five minutes to find as many squad members as they can before the alarm is sounded and the compound is put to an alert. From there, they must recover the rest of the squad under intense surveying, and make it out of the compound before they are found. If found, they will be fired at, but only non-lethal shots.

If recaptured, they will fail the Process, and be sedated and shipped back home. They will be told that the squad who did make it out alive of the compound were killed. Those who escape are given Ten Days, which will begin Phase-Three, to survive in the wild with little to no resources. During or directly afterwards, the Units are expect to raid the compound again to secure supplies, and a possible escape. If successful, the team would find a ship they would pass the final test, flying into the Exosphere of the planet. However, the ship is obviously rigged, and would be rerouted back to the base. The team who have survived and made it that far would be alerted that it was all a test, and were Officially Accepted into an Elite Unit named 7227, and they would be briefed when grounded.

From there, the new recruits are trained for the next twelve months at Fort Lakura to become Covert Specialists, and expand into Advanced Special Operations Training beyond what they already knew from their Elite Guardian Corps Experience and any experience prior.
